Metal stocks surge; Jindal Group companies, Hindalco lead

The Nifty Metal Index was trading 3.4% up at 3,586.35 points. The Nifty50 continue to surge higher in early trade on Thursday, with all of its sectoral indices also staying in the green. The Nifty Metal index, too, rebounded from Wednesday's decline as concerns about a trade war between the two of the world’s largest economies eased after the US and China signaled room for talks.
